Going 100% Cloud Base
by | Posted in Uncategorized 94 Comments »I’m in the process to convert my entire computing needs to the cloud. It’s actually been my dream/hope for a long time that I can go anywhere without attach to my physical computing resources. It’s very hard or complicated to implement this at the corporate level but I’m going to give it a try at my personal level… Since I can make any call myself
The end goal is that I can pick up a computer with Internet connection anywhere and anytime and be able to get to do my work right the way. At this point, these are the items that I need to convert:
1) Desktop Email, Contact & Calendar ==> Cloud Email, Contact & Calendar
2) Desktop Office Suite ==> Cloud Base Office Suite
3) Desktop Programming IDEs ==> Cloud Base IDEs
4) Desktop Multi-Media Applications ==> Cloud Base Media Application
5) Desktop Graphic Application ==> Cloud Base Graphic Application
6) Desktop File Systems ==> Cloud Base File System
7) Desktop Bookmarks/Shortcuts ==> Cloud Base Bookmarks/Shortcuts
Desktop Social Networking Application ==> Cloud Base Social Networking Application
Today is 11/21/2009 and I’ll update this post when I have more updates. I want to be able to go virtual soon
